Woke up this morning to find these cute little egg poachers sitting in a pot full of water! So, obviously I couldn’t resist – I had to try them out!
I have never poached an egg before. Not going to lie, it was a bit of a disaster: the water evaporated and freaked out thinking the plastic would melt, so I frantically poured water straight from the tap, which drowned the half cooked eggs causing some of the egg to swim around the water – but at the end it all worked out 🙂
1/4 cup Egg Whites
1 English Muffin
1 tablespoon Tomato Sauce
1 wedge Light Garlic & Herb Laughing Cow Cream Cheese
Sage to taste
Pepper to taste
I poached one egg and 1 quarter cup egg whites.
I placed the pretty poached egg with yolk on an english muffin, which I smeared with cream cheese and tomato sauce.
I finished it off with some spinach and sprinkled sage, pepper, and chilli flakes!
